Worn out thin

Deep pools of reflection

Looking back thoughts flood

A swim in the ocean 

Going along with the tide

Memories recollections of days gone by

Wondering if this is all there is to life

A tapestry of colors interwoven

Intricate designs etched into palms

Lines weaving in and out

Colored threads dancing 

Dancing to the tune of the needle

Stitches in time second by second

Weaving patterns of life

Recollections sitting in a rocking chair

 One by one contemplating

Slowly but surely

Tossed and turned by the tide

Slowly but surely reaching the shore

The beacon of light

Guiding me on my path
