Memories-Once Called Home

Once Called Home

Going back to your old home where you used to live can be traumatic. Just seeing the place where you lived and enjoyed your childhood and teen years old, worn out with cracks on the walls with peeling paint, can be heartbreaking.

This poem captures all the emotions when you return, trying to relive those happy moments in a place that you called "home."

black mold

peeling paint

dilapidated walls

network of cobwebs

spiders spinning tales

with yarns of memories

spun with emotions

of what was once called

home

memories
