Countryside

Faraway in the countryside

Where the green grass grows

And the clouds float high

I hear a whisper calling out to me

Come on now can’t you see

You should be right here, close to me

Have your forgotten

Do you know me now?

Am Mother Nature

Open your eyes and see

And so I visit the countryside

To see nature’s spread across the mile

Now I see what I have missed

The calm, the beauty, the amazing bliss

Now I wonder how it could be

Why I left the countryside to be in the city
